Gasgrid invites hydrogen valuechain actors to join in building the future hydrogen market for Finland and the Baltic Sea region. We are currently mapping projects and companies that produce or use hydrogen and are interested in participating in the national market as well as in the developing export pipeline connections. By responding to our survey, you can join the joint preparation work and promote the development of regional value chains and crossborder hydrogen infrastructure.
Gasgrid’s hydrogen infrastructure development in 2026 focuses on supporting the formation of regional value chains. An important part of building the hydrogen economy consists of projects that produce or use hydrogen and make use of transmission infrastructure in addition to their own consumption/production.
We are currently mapping actors and projects that are interested in participating in the national market or, through our export connections, in the Nordic and Baltic Sea regional markets. Through the link provided, companies can express their interest in participating in the development of the hydrogen pipeline value chain as well as in the national market, where our planned export connections will be utilized.

For the NBHC route, a Call for Interest market survey is ongoing until 31 March 2026, through which interested parties can submit more detailed project information to the consortium to support the route’s development.

Gasgrid will contact all companies that have expressed their interest so that together we can find the most effective ways to cooperate in advancing Finland’s regional networks and cross-border infrastructure projects. To begin this valuable work with market participants, we hope to receive responses as soon as possible, but no later than the end of June 2026.
