Code of Conduct
The Gasgrid Code of Conduct guides all work in the company and must be followed by every employee in their daily decision-making.
Gasgrid Finland is a reliable partner
For our customers and other stakeholders, reliability is reflected in a high level of security of supply and safe operations. We act on an equal, open and impartial basis towards all our stakeholders.
Gasgrid Finland respects human rights
We respect human rights in all our activities. Under no circumstances will we accept the use of forced, undeclared or child labour. We also take a zero-tolerance approach to corruption and bribery, and under no circumstances may our employees receive or offer bribes in excess of hospitality. Any conflict of interest must be reported immediately to the company’s management or Board of Directors.
Gasgrid Finland addresses misconduct
Gasgrid has an updated, confidential whistleblowing channel service in accordance with the EU Whistleblowing Directive. The whistleblowing channel is a channel for reporting misconduct that the whistleblower has become aware of. Via this channel, you can report any suspected abuse or unethical conduct in Gasgrid Finland Oy or in any of its group companies.
We recommend that you discuss the suspicion of misconduct primarily with the responsible person in our company. If you do not want to bring the matter to the responsible persons in the company, you can use the whistleblowing channel. On the whistleblowing channel, it is possible to have an anonymous discussion with the processor of the report.
Confidentiality of reports
All reports will be treated in a confidential manner. The reports can be viewed in our company by a specifically designated misconduct investigation group, which investigates the reported matter. If necessary, these persons may request additional information from the whistleblower through the channel. They will also respond through the channel within three months as to what measures we will take based on the report. Please make a note of the code you receive after submitting the report in the whistleblowing channel.
You can access the whistleblowing channel at gasgrid.ilmoituskanava.fi.
It is also possible to make a notification to the Chancellor of Justice’s centralized external reporting channel.
Ordinary feedback, for example customer or stakeholder feedback, must be given using the normal feedback channels, which can be found at https://gasgrid.fi/en/contact-details/.
Market development groups
We are inviting our customers to join development groups, which will help the company to improve its services and the gas market as a whole.
There are two development groups: the wholesale market development group, an English-language group for registered shippers, traders, end-users of the transmission system, biogas/LNG suppliers and gas transmission operations, and the retail market development group, a Finnish-language group for registered retailers and distribution network operators.
