Market information

Gasgrid Finland publishes transparency and market information relevant for market participants: Transparency and market informartion. Transparency plays an important role in our operations. Gasgrid Finland follows the Gas Regulation (EC) No 715/2009 which sets the minimum requirements for transparency information publication.

Gasgrid publishes the information necessary for network users to gain effective access to the system, the definition of all relevant points for transparency requirements and the information to be published at all relevant points on the Transparency Platform offered by ENTSOG. At the Transparency Platform, information on both technical (e.g. physical gas flow, gas quality) and commercial information (e.g. nominations, capacity bookings) published by Gasgrid Finland and other TSOs in European Union can be found.

Floating LNG Terminal Finland Oy is publishing daily inventory data on the ALSI Transparency Platform (https://alsi.gie.eu/) in accordance with Finnish and European legislation.

Reporting and Urgent Market Messages

The Terminal Operator exchanges private, market-sensitive information with the Terminal User through the Terminal information exchange system.  

The Terminal information exchange system allows the Terminal Operator and the Terminal User to exchange information and documents regarding: 

  • Requirements For Access to the Terminal 
  • Capacity Allocation Procedure 
  • Annual Service Schedule 
  • monitoring of LNG quality and volumes delivered 
  • exchange of any information useful for the commercial operation of the Terminal User.  
  • Access form, terms and conditions as well as the list of information exchanged are defined in Annex 2.  

In the event that the Terminal information exchange system is unavailable for any reasons, the Terminal Operator will determine at its own discretion an alternative communication channel and will inform all Terminal Users. 

The Terminal Operator publishes Urgent Market Messages (UMM) on the terminal website to inform Terminal Users of: 

  • maintenance works affecting the Terminal 
  • limitations due to Adverse Weather Conditions 
  • changes and limitations to the provisions of the Terminal Services
