Schedule

Service scheduling

Once the annual capacity allocation procedure has been completed, Terminal Operator defines a preliminary Annual Service Schedule, based on maximum capacity, technical constraints at the Terminal, gas grid limitations and expected weather and maritime conditions

Preliminary Annual Service Schedule schedule includes:

  • start and end dates of the slots with a flexibility of plus or minus 4 calendar days,
  • LNG discharge volumes with a flexibility of plus or minus 10 %
  • daily regasification and grid injection profiles

Based on the Preliminary Annual Service Schedule, Terminal Users provide their individual draft schedules, indicating the desired scheduled slots, specifying their expected LNGC arrival times and volumes to be unloaded.

If Users´ drafts are not mutually compatible, e.g., there are overlapping slots, they are solved either by the negotiation between the Users or following the congestion principles prescribed in the Terminal Rules.

  1. Terminal Operator asks the Terminal Users interested in the same slots to negotiate among themselves, and to provide an updated schedule.
  2. If inconsistencies still persist the following process consisting of a maximum of 3 rounds is conducted.
    • Terminal Users request their preferred slots from the slots under dispute each at a time.
    • First 2 rounds: The maximum number of slots requested can be at a maximum of 1/3 of the slots still under dispute, rounded up
    • The last round: The Terminal User requests the rest of the slots under dispute
    • The order of the Terminal Users making requests is in decreasing order of number of disputed slots
    • The Terminal Operator accepts the requests in such order

After completing the application of the above congestion procedure, Terminal Operator finalises the Annual Services Schedules and gives the Users the possibility of exchanging gas volumes in injections, following the principles regulated by Joint Use Service Contract.

The application of Joint Use Service Contract ensures borrow and landing of gas delivered to the Terminal, where balancing is performed on a quarterly basis, i.e. Users need to balance their discharge and their injection on a 3-month period.

Terminal operator performs monthly update of the Annual Service Schedule based on the schedule updates provided by the Terminal Users.
