Recording and materials of the webinar concerning the floating LNG terminal and the terminal rules have been published

Gasgrid Finland organized a webinar concerning the floating LNG terminal and the terminal rules. Gasgrid thanks all attendees for active participation. During the webinar, a great number of questions were asked. The answers to the questions can be checked from the webinar recording which can be found here and below.

The presentation material where the key principles of the terminal rules with numerical examples is also published. The material can be found here.

The public consultation of the terminal rules launched by the Finnish Energy Authority is open until 11 November. The Energy Authority requests for market participants to submit opinions on the following documents approved by the Energy Authority:

  • General Terms and Conditions
  • Terminal rules
  • Joint Terminal Use Rules
  • Annex 6: Calculation of Guarantees and penalties

There are also a number of annexes which are part of the terminal rule package, but not listed above and not approved by the Energy Authority, and which are welcome as well. However, possible comments to the annexes should be addressed to Gasgrid Finland. The Energy Authority does not evaluate received comments on documents not confirmed by the Energy Authority.

Opinions regarding documents confirmed by the Energy Authority are to be sent via email to kirjaamo@energiavirasto.fi and info@konkurentsiamet.ee. Please refer to the Finnish diary number 2182/050304/2022 in your opinions and emails.

Submitting comments on documents not confirmed by the Energy Authority is also possible within the same time window. Comments on the documents not confirmed by the Energy Authority should be sent to Gasgrid Finland via e-mail to customerservice@gasgrid.fi.

If the opinion and its possible attachments contain information that you consider to be confidential business secrets, you are asked to mark them clearly in the documents. In this case, you are also asked to provide a version of the statement and its attachments which the information you consider confidential has been covered or removed from.
