Capacity allocation result for Winter 2023-2024 Spot Slots

Floating LNG Terminal Finland Oy, a 100 % subsidiary of Gasgrid Finland Oy, as the terminal operator for the FSRU (Floating Storage and Regasification Unit) vessel Exemplar, moored in the port of Inkoo since December 2022, announces that all available Spot Slot Capacity for the period 14 December until 6 April was reserved during the capacity allocation and Annual Service Schedule will be updated accordingly in the next Monthly Update.

Due to the allocation being quite congested, Congestion Management according to Terminal Rules clause 8.4 was applied to allocate available capacity. All slots now allocated for 14 December, 2023 until 6 April, 2024 will be under temporary Joint Use Rules approved by Energy Authority applying Joint use for the full period. Said Slots will also be invoiced on actual discharged cargo quantity for this period to aid operational predictability and flexibility for the winter period. No other changes to the current Terminal Rules will be applied for the period and no update to the current Terminal Rules will be issued as these changes are temporary.

Currently all slots at the Inkoo LNG Terminal are booked for the current Gas Year. However, Floating LNG Terminal Finland Oy will reserve the right to open Reduced Capacity Late Spot Slots for Winter 2023/2024. The size, and flexibility, of these Slots will be defined in each invite and can generally be up to around 500 GWH and will be offered on a need basis. Late Spot Slot conditions will be applied to these Reduced Capacity Late Spot Slots, and Joint Use will therefore not be applicable to these. The LNG delivered during these slots will have to be withdrawn according to the regasification period defined in the invite.
