As the competent authority, the Finnish Energy Authority has confirmed the terminal rules for the period 1.1.2025-1.1.2026 proposed by Floating LNG Terminal Finland Oy (FLTF). FLTF is a 100 % subsidiary of Gasgrid Finland Oy.
The rules have been updated to offer more flexible services at the terminal and to ensure continuing equal and non-discriminatory access to terminal capacity for all market participants.
The approval was preceded by a public hearing open between 7-28.5.2024 during which the market participants could comment on the proposed rules. Based on these comments and statements Floating LNG Terminal Finland Oy decided to revisit some of the proposed sections and updated the final suggestion sent to the Finnish Energy Authority.
In the final version, which the Finnish Energy Authority has now approved, the key changes have been the following;
- A loading fee has been added to the pricing annex stating that all LNG Carriers unloading/loading at the terminal will bear a fee of 10 000 EUR per call
- Extension Service has been added as a new service. The cost for the service is 0.13 EUR/MWh during the period 1st of April to 30th of September, and 0.00 EUR/MWh between the period 1st of October to 31st of March
- Adjusted Late Spot Slots have been added as a new service
As changes mainly concern Terminal Rules and General Terms & Conditions, the approved versions of these can be found below. The rest of the contract package will be published in due course.
