The Finnish Energy Authority (Energiavirasto) has published a consultation on the application to amend the terms and conditions made by Floating LNG Terminal Finland Oy for the Energy Authority. Current terminal rules are valid until 1.1.2026, and the amended rules now under consultation would be approved for the period 1.1.2026-1.1.2027. The consultation is open until the 30th of May 2025.
During the past year FLTF has closely cooperated with its stakeholders, the terminal users, and suppliers on how to further improve the services offered at the Inkoo terminal in the future. There have been regular discussions with market participants about possible improvements and services that would help the market. Due to this, the proposed rules include new services and allocation methods that are set to answer the requests of the market participants. For example extra flexibility through the possibility to transfer slots within a quarter, inventory transfers between users, and the possibility to reserve long-term capacity.
