The Energy Authority has initiated a consultation prior to issuing a final confirmation decision concerning Articles 26 and 28 of the network code on harmonized transmission tariff structures for gas. This consultation pertains to the reference price methodology applied in Finland, as well as the level of multipliers, seasonal factors, and discounts related to the reference price methodology for gas transmission tariffs. The consultation includes proposed reference prices for capacity products for the year 2026 and tariff multipliers for shorter-term capacity products. Additionally, the material provides a detailed description of the proposed new pricing component for transmission services, the capacity subscription charge, including its calculation basis and unit price.
The consultation will be held from October 6 to October 24, 2025. Statements must be submitted by October 24, 2025 to the address kirjaamo@energiavirasto.fi (with a copy to emmi.puputti@energiavirasto.fi). Statements must include the relevant case number: 2009/050003/2025 for Article 26 and 2010/050003/2025 for Article 28.
