Join the NBHC in collecting information on hydrogen production, consumption, storage, distribution and cross-border flows along the Corridor across Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Germany.
The Nordic-Baltic Hydrogen Corridor (NBHC) is a joint initiative of six European gas transmission system operators (TSOs): Gasgrid (Finland), Elering (Estonia), Conexus Baltic Grid (Latvia), Amber Grid (Lithuania), GAZ-SYSTEM (Poland) and ONTRAS (Germany). The NBHC aims to diversify Europe’s energy supply, accelerate renewable energy integration, create market development, and strengthen energy security.
Backed by the EU as a Project of Common Interest (PCI) and supported with €6.8 million from the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), NBHC completed its pre‑feasibility in June 2024 and entered the feasibility phase in 2025. National and cross‑border studies are expected to conclude in early 2027.
NBHC now invites hydrogen producers, consumers, storage operators, distribution systems and shippers from across the hydrogen ecosystem to share indicative, non‑binding input for NBHC development.
The survey open 14.1.-31.3.2026
The survey is open from 14th January to 31st March 2026. After the survey, NBHC will invite respondents to discuss needs in more detail, with the aim of signing non‑binding Letters of Intents (LoIs). LoIs do not reserve capacity or create commercial obligations – they aggregate market signals to guide further development.
Take part in the NBHC Call for Interest by completing the survey here by March 31st, 2026.
