Gasgrid Finland’s annual report for 2021 has been published on the company’s website in Finnish and English. The annual report includes annual review, sustainability report, Corporate Governance Statement and Remuneration report for 2021, report by the Board of Directors and financial statements for 2021.
The Annual Report 2021 describes the most relevant areas of Gasgrid Finland’s business and sustainability. The report has been prepared, where applicable, in accordance with the GRI Core reporting framework. As a new item, six indicators in the sustainability report have been verified.
EU’s energy and climate policy reinforced trends, which are leading towards carbon neutrality, in 2021. The changes in the operating environment are a great opportunity for both Gasgrid Finland and Finland, of which the most prominent is the hydrogen economy. Gasgrid Finland performed well against key indicators throughout the year. One of the key milestones was the successful establishment of the company’s own Strategic Analysis & RDI unit.
Together with our customers, stakeholders, and personnel, we will continue to work towards the development of a clean energy and raw material system, without forgetting everyday safety and security. This report is about the steps which we have taken towards our goals, and I am pleased to say that many steps have been taken and they have been in the right direction”, says the CEO Olli Sipilä.
