Gasgrid Finland’s annual report for 2022 has been published on the company’s website in Finnish and English. The annual report includes the annual review, sustainability report, Corporate Governance Statement and Remuneration report for 2022, report by the Board of Directors and financial statements for 2022.
The Annual Report 2022 describes the most relevant areas of Gasgrid Finland’s business and sustainability. The report has been prepared in accordance with the GRI with reference reporting framework. Twelve indicators in the sustainability report have been verified by PriceWaterhouseCoopers Oy.
“The operating environment in year 2022 was exceptional. Uncertainty caused by the energy crisis as well as lowering prices for our customers by 15 % was reflected in Gasgrid’s financial result, which declined compared to previous years. Despite of challenges, the year also included numerous excellent successes. During the year, we implemented e.g., the floating LNG terminal project in Inkoo in record time, moved gas deliveries from the Imatran connection point to the Balticconnector pipeline, exceeded 1000 accident-free days and ensured 100% supply security for our customers. We also took strides forward in clean gases, important for Finland, by launching several hydrogen development projects. All these achievements lay a good foundation for continuing the good work the next year, says Olli Sipilä, CEO of Gasgrid Finland.
