Gasgrid Finland promotes the development of the national hydrogen network in Finland, and international infrastructure cooperation and the hydrogen market in the Baltic Sea region. We have launched three extensive infrastructure development projects to promote the creation of investments in hydrogen economy in Finland. Investments in hydrogen production and hydrogen use play a large role in the construction of infrastructure and the realization of infrastructure investments. In addition, they boost employment and well-being in the whole of Finland.
Gasgrid Finland is currently evaluating possible routing options for development of national hydrogen infrastructure. To support this work Gasgrid organises a market consultation for industrial companies to find out about their hydrogen related plans. The purpose of the market consultation is to evaluate the development of industrial hydrogen investment projects, find out interest of the industrial companies to be connected to future hydrogen infrastructure and strengthen the interest to develop hydrogen infrastructure in Finland. Gasgrid Finland’s market consultation is open for all industrial companies and project developers.
During the market consultation process companies are asked to share information about ongoing and planned projects with Gasgrid. In the consultation, operators are asked to indicate the location of potential hydrogen projects, the need for hydrogen transfer and storage, and the development schedule of the projects. Based on your answers Gasgrid can develop the hydrogen infrastructure to meet the operators’ needs. The consultation is carried out as a survey.
