Gasgrid Finland has published the survey on the capacity allocation mechanism in the Balticconnector interconnection point.

Gasgrid Finland has submitted the survey for the Finnish Energy Authority in accordance with the Energy Authority’s confirmation decision on the capacity allocation mechanism applicable in the Balticconnector interconnection point on 30 November 2020. In conjunction with the survey, Gasgrid Finland has asked the Energy Authority for an opinion on whether the current capacity allocation mechanism can be continued in 2022 or if the capacity auction mechanism should be introduced. Additionally, Gasgrid Finland has requested an opinion on when the capacity auction mechanism should be applied, if its introduction is required.
