The LNG carrier Minerva Limnos has brought a full cargo of LNG to Floating LNG Terminal Finland’s Exemplar vessel in Inkoo. The loading went as planned and the ship’s liquefied natural gas was vaporized and injected into Gasgrid’s gas network for delivery to industry and energy plants.
LNG is supplied from the global gas market. Discharging typically takes about a day.
Floating LNG Terminal Finland Oy is a subsidiary of Gasgrid Finland, founded in 2022, which operates floating LNG terminal. The LNG terminal started operating in January 2023 in the port of Inkoo. The terminal ensures gas supply not only in Finland but also in the Baltics.
