The Energy Authority has launched consultations on the terms and conditions of Gasgrid Finland’s transmission services and the terms and conditions of Balticconnector’s capacity allocation mechanism

The Energy Authority organizes public consultations on the terms and conditions of the transmission services and the terms and conditions of Balticconnector capacity allocation mechanism. The consultations will end 13th of November 2020.

Terms and conditions of transmission services

Gasgrid Finland has submitted updated terms and conditions of transmission services to the Energy Authority for approval. The document would enter into force on 1st of January 2021.

The Energy Agency reserves the opportunity for interested parties to comment on the terms of the transmission services. The opinions must be submitted to the Finnish Energy Authority no later than Friday 13 November 2020 to the following e-mail addresses: kirjaamo (a) energiavirasto.fi with a copy to buket.yuksel (a) energiavirasto.fi. Opinions can also be submitted to the Energy Authority, Lintulahdenkuja 2 A, 00530 Helsinki. The opinions shall refer to the diary number 1951/533/2020.

Terms and conditions of the Balticconnector capacity allocation mechanism

Pursuant to section 100 of the Natural Gas Market Act, the Energy Authority confirms the terms and conditions of the transmission service to be observed in the international connections of the natural gas system for 2021 before their introduction. The confirmation decision is valid for one year.

Gasgrid Finland has submitted to the Energy Authority for approval the updated terms and conditions of the Balticconnector capacity allocation mechanism, which would enter into force on 1 January 2021. The current terms and conditions are valid until 31.12.2020.

The Energy Authority reserves the opportunity for interested parties to present their views on the terms and conditions of the Balticconnector capacity allocation mechanism.
