The Finnish Energy Authority has launched a consultation on the Terms and Conditions of Balticconnector capacity allocation mechanism – consultation is open until April 5, 2024

The Finnish Energy Authority has launched a public consultation on the Terms and Conditions of Balticconnector capacity allocation mechanism which is open until April 5, 2024. In the updated Terms and Conditions, the key changes concern especially the virtual capacity calculation mechanism and the introduction of Shipper Group concept. Opinions must be submitted to the Energy Authority no later than 5 April 2024 by e-mail to kirjaamo@energiavirasto.fi and as a copy to tiina.karppinen@energiavirasto.fi. The diary number 3433/050303/2023 must be entered in the message. If the opinion or its possible appendices contain confidential information, please mark it clearly and also provide the Energy Authority with versions of the documents from which the confidential information has been removed.
