Connecting to the network

On request and for a reasonable fee, we will connect to our network natural gas consumption and storage sites, liquefied natural gas (LNG) handling facilities, gas production facilities using renewable energy sources, as well as dedicated pipelines within our operating area, provided that they meet the applicable technical requirements.

For new connections, we publish the technical requirements and the reasonable timeframe within which we process requests for quotations related to connections. An operator requesting a connection has the right to request from us a comprehensive and sufficiently detailed estimate of the connection costs, as well as an estimate of the connection delivery schedule.

We require that the technical details of the connection be submitted to us in order to carry out the necessary assessments and determine the cost implications. Please download the preliminary connection information form available in the sidebar and send the completed form, together with any possible attachments, to customerservice@gasgrid.fi. Based on the information provided, we will carry out the required technical assessment and prepare a cost estimate for establishing the connection.
